Learning Mentor

 Group 2 NOR 240 (including nursery)

For September 2021 Part time- 20 hours per week (Permanent)

Pay Range SCP 18-22 (Pro-rata)

The governors are seeking to appoint a Learning Mentor from 1 September 2021.This is a superb opportunity to assist our school on its journey from ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding.’

At our most recent Ofsted Inspection personal development, welfare and behaviour were judged as outstanding.

‘Leaders have created a warm, inclusive and nurturing environment that enables pupils to flourish. Staff are caring and compassionate. They go to great lengths to attend to pupils’ individual needs. As a result, pupils feel valued and well cared for.’ (Ofsted 2019)

You will have experience in working with children to remove barriers to learning. You will also work with families to support with children’s attendance and behaviour. You will lead on our EHATs and assist the Designated Safeguarding Lead. You will be an excellent, dynamic communicator; able to engage with a wide variety of partners, quickly developing professional relationships with all stakeholders in our community.  You will also be required to lead an after school club.
