Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School

Guided by the Holy Spirit, together we SOAR.

Welcome from the Headteacher

Headteacher - Miss Sinéad Walsh

A very warm welcome to the Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School website. I hope it gives you a real taste of our school and our wonderful community.

I am extremely proud to be the Headteacher of such a caring, exciting and forward-thinking school in the heart of Parr, St Helens. Our mission, "Guided by the Holy Spirit, together we SOAR," is at the centre of everything we do. With Jesus at the heart of our school, we are a warm, welcoming and inclusive community where every child is valued and encouraged to Shine, care for Others, Aspire, and show Respect and Responsibility.

We aim to prepare our children not just for tomorrow, but for every tomorrow throughout their lives. From the moment they first walk through our gates, we lay strong foundations for learning and nurture the skills, attitudes and confidence they need for secondary school and beyond. A child's first day with us is just as important as their last.

We believe that wellbeing and achievement go hand in hand. Children who are happy, confident and secure are able to thrive, both academically and socially. That is why we work closely with parents and carers to make sure every child's needs are met and that each one grows in self-esteem and in positive relationships with others.

Our talented and dedicated staff team help every child develop a love of learning and the ambition to achieve their very best. Our broad and balanced curriculum is carefully planned to engage children's interest, meet their individual needs and give them the knowledge and skills they need both now and in the future.

Children's learning is further enriched by a wide range of extra-curricular activities, including multi-skills, rugby, CAFOD club, keyboard, choir and dance.

Thank you for visiting our website. We update it regularly with news, events and the latest school activities, so please do pop back. If you have any questions or would like to come and see Holy Spirit in action, we would love to hear from you. Please contact the school office to arrange a visit.
