Year 1

Overview of RED in Year 1

Branch 4 - Desert to Garden

Lent is a way of giving things to help others.  Fasting, praying and giving to others are ways of following Jesus’ example.

The CAFOD BIG Lent Walk is a way that we can give to others. Year 1 enjoyed completing the walk as a class.

Year 1 retold the story of Jesus entering Jerusalem using the golden box resources and acting it out.

Year 1 made crosses to remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us.

"The sky went black and the people were sad." - Nina

"But the cross reminds us of Hope" - Natalia
